Beverly Hills Fashion Festival - Part 2

Here are some pictures of my faves from the Teresa Rosati show. Some of the pieces were really great, although the collection itself didn't feel very cohesive. To be honest, the pieces were either a hit or miss. Sorry for the terrible photos - my camera was apparently on the wrong setting! Oops!

Beverly Hills Fashion Festival

Sorry for the recent lack of posts. I've actually been recovering from an emergency appendectomy! I was finally able to take my sweatpants off and throw on something decent this weekend for the Beverly Hills Fashion Festival. I checked out Teresa Rosati's show, but left before any others due to the lack of things to do the hour in-between shows and the chilly weather that evening and minimal space heaters in the tent.

Forever 21 shoes, skirt, bracelet and necklaces, H&M top, vintage fur stole.

Burrata pizza, some delicious curry shrimp sandwich, frozen yogurt, Sprinkles cupcakes, and champagne. The food was soo yummy - but expensive!

Some people were more interested in horse racing...

Modern Hepburn

Audrey Hepburn has always been a style icon, but it was her wardrobe in Breakfast at Tiffany's that really sealed the deal. I can't help but get Holly Golightly flashbacks every time I see Olivia Palermo. She is always so chic, clean, and put together. I absolutely adore her Uptown NY style. She is great a mixing unique pieces and really pulling together an entire "look" as opposed to just a stylish outfit.

Pictures from last year's annual New Year's Eve trip to Palm Beach. It is one of my favorite places in the world - so beautiful, fun, and peaceful. And yes, the men wear velvet loafers with gold bumblebees!

It's been a little gloomy in LA these past few days and even though I absolutely love chilly, fall days this time of year (Hocus Pocus marathon anyone?!), every now and then you've got to add a little color to brighten your day. Today, Rihanna's new video for "Only Girl" is the perfect solution. The video reminds me of Maxfield Parrish paintings (my favorite) set to music. The wardrobe, styling, movement, and colors are all so beautiful...

Guess Who's Back

Wow! After an extremely long hiatus from blogging (my apologies!) I am ready to get back into the swing of things. Hopefully, if all goes well, I have some exciting things to share in the upcoming future. I understand my abrupt disappearance was a little ridiculous (and far too long), but without giving any lame, or even completely reasonable excuses, my little fingers will be typing away........
